Join Professor Liane Czirjak from the Marketing department in a power skills workshop focusing on professional communication strategies.
The Professional Communication workshop focuses on developing students' professional expertise in business communications to meet the needs of a dynamic and demanding workplace. The workshop uses extensive examples as well as experiential learning opportunities targeting audience-centric writing strategies and is designed to help employees/students at any level meet the researched and dynamic needs of employers in any industry.
An EDGE: Professional Communication virtual badge will be issued to you upon completion of the workshop.
Agenda for the workshop:
- Understand, develop, and practice effective communication at entry-level and low-mid manager levels.
- Understand industry and employment requirements for communication skills.
- Develop expertise as a business professional.
- Learn that composing a successful document often requires multiple drafts, with varying degrees of focus on generating, revising, editing, and proofreading.
