Students are provided an opportunity to explore a range of possibilities including; customer and employee experiences, products and services, operational capabilities, and business models. After identifying and evaluating relevant prospects for innovation, participants will create a proposal for a digital transformation initiative at an organization of their choice as the final deliverable for the course. Students will demonstrate:
- How to identify the impact of digital disruption on different industries, and evaluate the transformational potential of emerging digital platforms.
- Ways to create new sources of value, revenue, and capability through digital transformation.
- The ability to determine which opportunities to innovate through digital transformation are most viable and essential for a specific organization to pursue.
- How to formulate and present a proposal to innovate based on a digital transformation initiative.
