Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is a vital component to a productive workplace and society. Understanding the fundamentals of DEI in relationship to one’s own personal background and experiences takes self-reflection and ongoing study. This certificate provides participants with engaging materials so they can explore concepts such as unconscious bias, cultural intelligence, humility, privilege, and power. Ultimately, participants will create a personal action plan to incorporate DEI knowledge and concepts into their workplaces. This action plan requires intentional effort and compassion. The certificate will help you harness your personal agency to positively impact your environment. Participants will become Culture Change Agents through knowledge-gathering, understanding of interpersonal interactions, and compassionate communication.
